If you follow the instructions these designs will pop right out of the hoop with no trimming.
There are lots of extras in this set. There are 3 different box designs, one plain and 2 with patterns. You can use ribbon on the plain box to give it an extra touch of color. Here is a list of all the designs in this set: Tree, tree skirt, star, 3 gift box designs, fireplace (just add mini battery operated lights to a cracked glass candle holder), stockings, candle ring/wreath, 4x4 curly coaster, 5x7 curly coaster (will double as a rug with my 3-D Christmas2 set) and an extra bonus holly design.
